Hiring : Senior Backend Engineer Automotive R&D

Join our Automotive R&D Engineering Team working with a leading global EV brand. Youll build scalable, cloud-native backend systems powering connected vehicle and electric mobility platforms, collaborating with global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build distributed backend architectures on AWS for connected car services
  • Develop and deploy microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Implement event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
  • Work with MySQL & PostgreSQL databases and caching solutions like Redis
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS EC2, RDS, ElasticCache, Redis, and EKS
  • Implement monitoring and logging using Datadog
  • Write and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, Python, and Spring Boot Test

Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend development experience
  • 2+ years of cloud development experience (AWS preferred)
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and performance tuning
  • Experience in building scalable, high-availability systems

Preferred

  • Experience with Automotive, Connected Car, EV, or Infotainment systems
  • Knowledge of OTA (Over-the-Air) services
  • Prior experience in automotive or mobility platforms
