About the role

As an Instructional Designer, you will design, develop, and deploy engaging, learner-centric content for diverse audiences across the Group. You’ll work on multiple formats—e-learning, microlearning, videos, and blended programs—using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Synthesia.

Beyond development, you’ll also contribute to post-launch activities such as communicating learning initiatives, ensuring outreach to the right audiences, and monitoring engagement and feedback. A flair for graphic design and video editing will be an added advantage.

You’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts, design teams, and business stakeholders to create learning solutions that drive real performance impact.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and Develop interactive e-learning modules, simulations, and video-based learning content using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Synthesia.
  • Apply instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles to translate complex business topics into engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including SMEs, visual designers, and HR Tech – to ensure content quality, consistency, and relevance.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, prototypes, and visual briefs aligned with program objectives and learner needs.
  • Use graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, Camtasia) to enhance visual appeal and learner engagement.
  • Support post-development efforts, including:
  • Designing learner communication materials (mailers, posters, banners, teasers, etc.) to drive awareness and participation.
  • Partnering with HR and business teams to reach the right target audience for each learning initiative.
  • Tracking learner engagement, completion data, and feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Handle complexity with agility, showing strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication, or related field.
  • Certifications in Articulate tools, Instructional Design, or Digital Learning are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) (e.g., SuccessFactors, Degreed) will be valued


Skills/ Good to have:

  • Proven expertise in Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Synthesia.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning experience design, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent storytelling, visual communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on learner engagement and quality outcomes.
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and problem-solving in dynamic project contexts.
