Sukan Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (established 1988) is a channel partner and authorized distributor for leading global instrumentation and automation brands — including Emerson (Rosemount, Fisher, ASCO, Aventics), Danfoss, AUMA and many other reputed Brands — serving nuclear, thermal and gas power plants and process industries across India.


We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Executive (Techno-Commercial) to run our inside sales desk in Vadodara. You will handle a healthy mix of private-industry enquiries and government/PSU tenders, prepare quotations, coordinate with our principals and internal teams, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming enquiries from private-industry customers as well as government/PSU tenders, and drive them through to order.
  • Prepare accurate customer quotations and proforma invoices; obtain and compile supplier/principal quotes for pricing, delivery and technical inputs.
  • Follow up consistently with customers on quotations and pending orders, and convert a higher share of enquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Manage the complete tender lifecycle — track and qualify opportunities on GeM, CPPP and other e-procurement portals as well as private tenders; study specifications and BOQs; prepare compliance statements; and submit complete techno-commercial bids on time.
  • Handle tender commercials and documentation — EMD, bid security, GST, MSME, ISO and authorization certificates, past-performance and PO references.
  • Coordinate closely with the field sales team, service team, logistics and accounts to keep enquiries, orders and after-sales moving smoothly.
  • Arrange and track dispatch of orders, and follow up on delivery and payment.
  • Maintain all enquiries, quotations and the order pipeline in Zoho CRM.

Requirements:

  • Graduate (commerce or technical background preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of inside sales / B2B industrial sales experience with industrial products (instrumentation, electrical, valves or process equipment), including hands-on tendering.
  • Experience preparing and submitting tenders — handling both private-industry enquiries and government tenders on GeM / e-procurement portals.
  • Strong techno-commercial ability — preparing quotations, reading specifications and BOQs, and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM (Zoho preferred); working knowledge of GST and commercial terms.
  • Proactive, engaging and personable, with strong follow-up skills, a target/conversion mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication in English (fluency required); Gujarati and Hindi are a strong plus.
  • Based in Vadodara (on-site role).
