About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Inside Sales Executive to generate business opportunities, qualify leads, and support the field sales team in selling industrial products and capital equipment. The role requires excellent communication skills, customer engagement, lead nurturing, and coordination with technical and sales teams throughout the sales cycle.


The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B industrial sales, lead generation, CRM management, and customer follow-up.


Key Responsibilities

 

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Generate qualified sales leads through telephone, email, LinkedIn, and online research.
  • Identify potential customers across manufacturing industries.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer database.
  • Research target companies and decision makers.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Contact prospective customers to understand their application requirements.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and meetings for Application Engineers and Sales Managers.
  • Conduct follow-ups on inquiries, quotations, demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through regular communication.

 

Sales Support

  • Prepare and send quotations, proposals, brochures, and technical literature.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal technical teams for commercial and technical information.
  • Maintain quotation tracking and opportunity pipeline.
  • Support tender-related documentation when required.

 

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Update customer interactions in CRM.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and opportunity status.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track conversion ratios and sales activities.

 

Customer Service

  • Handle customer queries regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with logistics and service teams for order execution.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication.

 

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain information about industry trends and customer requirements.


Desired Candidate Profile

 

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automobile) preferred.

OR

  • Graduate with experience in Industrial B2B Sales.


Experience

  • 1–2 years in Inside Sales, Tele Sales, or B2B Sales.
  • Fresh engineering graduates with excellent communication skills may also apply.
