The role, in one line: You bring in the business from existing networks : prospect, pitch, quote, follow up, and close. Import & export clients, across our domestic and international network. The operations team will take care of the rest. The role of an Inside Sales desk is to nurture and maintain relationship inside all our current networks, i.e. lead generation from warm leads.
What you'll own:
- Prospect and generate leads: outbound calls & emails to exporters, importers, and manufacturers.
- Qualify inquiries and understand the client's actual shipping needs: lanes, volumes, commodity.
- Work with ops/pricing to build competitive quotes for air & ocean EXIM.
- Follow up relentlessly. Most freight deals are won on the third or fourth touch, not the first.
- Manage your pipeline and hit monthly targets.
- Coordinate with our overseas network and agents for cross-trade and nomination business.
- Keep clients warm after the first shipment - repeat business is where the money lies, not one time clients.
- Keep the CRM and records clean so nothing slips.
What we're looking for:
- 1-3 years in inside sales, tele-sales, or BD : Freight forwarding / Logistics exposure is a must
- Spoken and written English : You'll be on calls and email with international partners and domestic clients every day. This is non-negotiable
- Comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations with strangers
- Persistent : you follow up without being told, and don't treat the first "no" as final
- Understands freight basics: air vs ocean, EXIM, quotes, Incoterms
- Comfortable with Microsoft work encironment : Excel, email, and any CRM knowledge is a plus.
- Based in or willing to commute to Gurugram (on-site, 5 days/week)
- Degree in business, logistics, or similar preferred (not mandatory)

Compensation: ₹20,000–₹25,000/month fixed + commission / performance incentives upon meeting targets.
