Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with a strong background in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of experience and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires a dedicated individual who can manage day shifts effectively. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Provide expert administration of iSeries/AS400 systems including configuration maintenance and troubleshooting. Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates to maintain system integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Property & Casualty Insurance applications. Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and policies. Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues to prevent downtime. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance system performance. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions. Qualifications Must have 6 to 9 years of experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. Should possess strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance. Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Should have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Nice to have experience in hybrid work environments and managing day shifts. Should be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
