Information Technology Asset Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to own and drive enterprise-wide hardware and software asset management processes. The role will focus on building strong ITAM governance, maintaining high-quality CMDB data, and optimizing asset lifecycle management across a multi-site global environment.

This position will act as the ServiceNow ITAM subject matter expert, ensuring accurate asset data, license compliance, and standardized processes across corporate offices, plants, labs, and distributed locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end IT asset lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, changes, refresh, and retirement.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB / HAM / SAM modules.
• Maintain high data quality standards through governance, validation rules, and periodic audits.
• Integrate asset data with discovery tools, ERP, procurement, and endpoint management systems.
• Manage software license compliance, audits, and optimization for enterprise applications.
• Develop ITAM policies, standards, and controls aligned with ITIL practices.
• Build dashboards and reports to support IT, Finance, Procurement, and Operations decisions.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Security, Audit, and Plant teams to ensure accurate asset tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset management processes across multiple locations. JD - ITAM Specialist

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management / CMDB / ServiceNow ITAM.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, HAM/SAM, discovery, and integrations.
• Experience managing assets in a multi-site / global / manufacturing / technology environment.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and vendor audit processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA / ITAM / SAM / HAM) are preferred
