Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to ensure the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical equipment within a manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance while ensuring maximum equipment availability, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
Inspect, operate, and maintain cranes, portable machines, blasting machines, drilling machines, transformers, diesel generators (DG), UPS systems, and electrical control panels.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
Perform maintenance of motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Maintain LT/HT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, APFC panels, and distribution panels.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work systems, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with production, quality, EHS, contractors, and vendors for maintenance activities.
Prepare maintenance schedules, inspection reports, breakdown analysis, equipment history, and daily/monthly maintenance reports.
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of critical maintenance materials.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5S practices in the maintenance area.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices.

Electrical Control Panels (MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD)
Motors, Pumps, Compressors, Conveyors, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams.
Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance.
Experience in maintenance documentation, asset management, and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and team coordination skills.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, LOTO, work permits, and statutory compliance.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience
-1to3years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant, heavy engineering industry, or industrial maintenance.
