Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the country strategy aligned with Prysmian’s global and APAC objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities in power transmission, distribution, industrial cables, renewables, and telecom segments.
- Strengthen Prysmian’s position in India through market expansion, partnerships, and competitive differentiation.
- Commercial & Business Development
- Lead commercial strategies to expand market share in key sectors (utilities, EPCs, OEMs, telecom operators, and industrial clients).
- Oversee key account management and ensure superior customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business segments and product opportunities within India.
- P&L Management
- Own full responsibility for the country’s financial performance.
- Ensure profitability through operational control, margin improvement, pricing strategy, and cost optimization.
- Monitor financial KPIs and ensure compliance with corporate targets.
- Operations & Manufacturing Oversight
- Oversee local manufacturing plants, supply chain, and operational processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure alignment with Prysmian’s global operational standards, including sustainability and ESG commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across commercial, operations, finance, HR, and support functions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and safety.
- Ensure talent development and succession planning in line with global HR policies.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to Prysmian’s global compliance framework, including ethics, safety, legal, and operational policies.
- Maintain transparent communication with regional and global leadership.
- Manage local regulatory requirements and government interactions.
- Stakeholder & External Relations
- Represent Prysmian Group in India with key stakeholders: customers, government bodies, industry associations, and partners.
- Strengthen the company’s brand and corporate reputation in the Indian market.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12–18+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical solutions, energy, or telecom sectors.
- Proven track record in P&L leadership, business development, and leading large teams.
- Strong understanding of the Indian power, telecommunications, and industrial cabling market.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong customer orientation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chain, and plant performance metrics.
- High integrity and alignment with Prysmian’s values of excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
