What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns
  • Manage all aspects of initial intake via high-volume inbound phone calls
  • Provide basic technical customer service assistance for CPAP equipment
  • Verify and enter correct patient demographics and payer information
  • Educate patients on CPAP supplies and assist with mask fit issues

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer and internet skills, and a typing test
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
  • Background check and drug screen compliance
  • Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with medical equipment
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices and reimbursement
  • One year of related work experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience in administrative record management in the medical field
