About the Company

Hakke Industries is a growing manufacturing company engaged in the manufacturing of Street Lighting Poles, Octagonal Poles, Conical Poles, High Masts, Stadium Masts, Flag Masts, Decorative poles, CCTV Poles, and Related Steel Infrastructure Products. The company is also expanding into Pre-Engineered Buildings and other industrial infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a capable and responsible HR Manager who can handle the complete HR function for our manufacturing units, sales team, office staff, technical staff, workers, and future expansion requirements.

Position Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing recruitment, HR operations, statutory compliance, employee discipline, attendance, manpower planning, performance coordination, documentation, payroll coordination, and employee engagement. The candidate should be able to work closely with management, department heads, plant operations, sales teams, accounts, and administration to ensure smooth HR functioning across the organisation.

The role requires a practical, disciplined, and execution-oriented HR professional who understands both factory-level manpower and office/sales team requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Manpower Planning

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory, office, sales, technical, accounts, purchase, stores, production, quality, dispatch, site, and project-related positions.
  • Understand manpower requirements from management and department heads.
  • Prepare and maintain recruitment trackers for all open positions.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, references, consultants, job portals, walk-ins, and other sources.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate technical and management interviews, and follow up until joining.
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, joining documents, and employee files.
  • Maintain proper candidate database and hiring records.
  • Support hiring for sales teams, including field sales, internal sales, PEB sales, project sales, and regional sales positions.

2. HR Operations and Documentation

  • Maintain complete employee records, joining forms, KYC documents, attendance records, leave records, salary details, increment records, and exit documents.
  • Prepare HR letters such as appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, relieving letters, experience letters, transfer letters, and other official communications.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and induction for new employees.
  • Maintain HR MIS reports and submit periodic updates to management.
  • Coordinate with all departments for employee-related documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure that HR files and controlled documents are properly maintained physically and digitally.

3. Attendance, Leave and Payroll Coordination

  • Monitor daily attendance of staff, workers, sales team, and other employees.
  • Coordinate with department heads for absenteeism, late coming, overtime, leave approval, and shift planning.
  • Prepare monthly attendance inputs for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with accounts/payroll team for salary processing, deductions, advances, incentives, reimbursements, and full-and-final settlements.
  • Ensure salary processing data is accurate and submitted on time.

4. Statutory Compliance and Labour Law

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, factory-related HR requirements, ESI, PF, professional tax, minimum wages, bonus, gratuity, leave rules, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants and accounts team for statutory filings and records.
  • Maintain statutory registers, employee records, wage records, contractor labour records, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure proper documentation for labour contractors, contract workers, and factory manpower.
  • Support management during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.

5. Employee Discipline and Industrial Relations

  • Maintain discipline across factory, office, and sales teams.
  • Handle employee grievances, misconduct issues, absenteeism, late coming, poor performance, and workplace discipline matters.
  • Issue verbal and written warnings wherever required after management approval.
  • Coordinate with department heads to resolve employee issues in a fair and professional manner.
  • Ensure company rules, reporting systems, attendance discipline, and workplace conduct are followed strictly.
  • Support management in creating a professional and accountable work culture.

6. Performance Management and Reporting

  • Coordinate with department heads for performance reviews, probation confirmation, appraisal inputs, and increment recommendations.
  • Track performance of employees during probation and after joining.
  • Help management identify underperforming employees and support corrective action plans.
  • Prepare HR dashboards, manpower reports, recruitment status reports, attrition reports, attendance reports, and compliance reports.
  • Follow up with department heads for timely review of employees and pending HR actions.

7. Training and Employee Development

  • Coordinate induction training for new employees.
  • Identify basic training needs in coordination with department heads.
  • Arrange training related to safety, discipline, reporting, technical skills, sales coordination, HR policies, and workplace behaviour.
  • Maintain training attendance records and training documentation.
  • Support development of SOPs, HR policies, and employee handbooks.

8. Coordination with Plant, Sales and Management Teams

  • Work closely with production, quality, stores, dispatch, purchase, accounts, sales, site/project, and administration teams.
  • Understand manpower requirements for manufacturing operations, plant expansion, sales growth, and new projects.
  • Coordinate with sales teams for recruitment, attendance, reporting, travel, incentive documentation, and employee records.
  • Support management in implementing systems, procedures, reporting discipline, and HR controls across the organisation.

9. Exit Formalities

  • Conduct exit formalities for resigned or terminated employees.
  • Collect company assets, ID cards, documents, tools, uniforms, and other materials.
  • Coordinate full-and-final settlement with accounts.
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain exit records.
  • Ensure proper handover from employees before relieving.

Required Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in HR, preferably from manufacturing, engineering, steel fabrication, infrastructure, PEB, industrial products, or similar industries.
  • Good knowledge of recruitment, HR operations, labour compliance, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee discipline.
  • Experience in handling both staff and worker-level manpower.
  • Ability to coordinate with factory teams, sales teams, department heads, and management.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Practical knowledge of labour laws, ESI, PF, minimum wages, statutory registers, and contractor labour compliance.
  • Should be systematic in documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Should be firm, disciplined, confidential, and professional.
  • Must be comfortable working in a growing manufacturing organisation with multiple priorities.

Qualification

  • MBA / MSW / MHRM / PG Diploma in HR / Bachelor’s degree with strong HR experience.
  • Candidates with manufacturing HR experience will be preferred.

We are looking for a responsible HR Manager who can take ownership of the complete HR function and support the company’s growth. The candidate should be capable of handling recruitment, employee discipline, compliance, documentation, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR reporting independently.

The candidate should be practical, mature, process-oriented, and able to work closely with management for building a strong team and disciplined work culture.

Compensation

Salary will be in the range of ₹60,000 to ₹80,000 per month, depending on experience, capability, and suitability. Candidates with expectations beyond this range may not be considered.
