Job Description

Role Summary


The HRIS Specialist serves as the technical point of contact for the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and optimisation of our HR software systems. You will bridge the gap between HR processes and technology, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and that the organization can make data-driven decisions regarding its workforce.


Key Responsibilities


1. System Maintenance & Optimization


  • System Configuration: Manage the day-to-day configuration of the HRIS, including business processes, security groups, and custom fields.
  • Upgrades & Testing: Lead the review and testing of system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with IT to ensure integrations with payroll, benefits, and external vendors remain functional.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements to enhance the employee experience.


2. Data Integrity & Reporting


  • Data Auditing: Perform regular audits of HR data (e.g., compensation, job titles, organizational hierarchies) to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design, build, and generate recurring and ad-hoc reports. Provide "People Analytics" to leadership regarding turnover, headcount, and diversity metrics.
  • Compliance: Ensure the system meets all regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, EEOC, or local labor laws) regarding data privacy and record-keeping.


3. User Support & Training


  • Technical Support: Act as the Tier 2 support for employee and manager inquiries that cannot be resolved by general HR.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain user guides, "How-To" videos, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for HR staff and managers on new system features or modules.


Qualifications & Skills


·       Education : Master’s degree in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

·       Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience managing HRIS platforms.
