HR Associate – People & Operations

Revin Krishi is an award-winning, IIT Palakkad–incubated agritech startup building climate-smart, data-driven solutions for farmers and agricultural communities.

We design intelligent sensing, automation, and traceability systems that empower farmers to make precise decisions and improve profitability.

We are now building our People & Culture foundation—and we are hiring our first HR team member to institutionalise structured HR systems as we scale.

Role Overview

As our Founding HR associate— People & Operations, you will build and manage structured HR processes across payroll, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and coordination with leadership.

You will work directly with the Founder and leadership team and will play a key role in shaping the culture and systems of a fast-growing agritech startup.

What You Will Be Responsible For

HR Operations & Compliance (Execution Excellence)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing with 100% accuracy.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, labour laws).
  • Maintain structured employee records, attendance, and leave systems.
  • Create and maintain HR documentation and compliance trackers.
  • Support audits and ensure zero regulatory delays.

Talent Acquisition & Structured Onboarding

  • Handle full-cycle recruitment (JD creation → screening → interviews → offer → onboarding).
  • Build a proactive talent pipeline for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Standardise the onboarding experience and induction process.
  • Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers using HRMS tools.

Employee Engagement & Performance Systems

  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support structured performance review cycles.
  • Coordinate learning & development initiatives.
  • Build a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.

Employer Branding & Marketing Coordination

  • Collaborate with the marketing team for employer branding.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and LinkedIn content.
  • Coordinate HR communication across internal and external platforms.
  • Assist in planning hiring drives and engagement events.

Cross-Functional & Client Coordination

  • Act as a coordination bridge between HR, leadership, and project teams.
  • Support documentation and structured communication.
  • Ensure professionalism in internal and client-facing processes.

Who Should Apply

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 0–2 years of HR experience (strong internship experience acceptable).
  • Hands-on exposure to payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting/HR software is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Highly organised, detail-orientated, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with ownership.
