Job Description
Role Purpose
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The role will focus on strengthening people practices across for large, geographically spread sales teams ensuring high performance, engagement, and scalability of operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives
- Drive workforce planning, organization design, and capability building
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related decisions
- Support transformation initiatives across business units
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Support in bulk Sales and frontline workforce in collaboration with Sales State Heads
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely and quality hiring
- Build talent pipelines for critical and high-growth roles
3. Sales HRBP (Pan India)
- Act as HRBP for large, geographically spread sales teams
- Travel 5–10 days/month to engage with regional teams
- Drive productivity, performance management, and retention strategies
- Understand ground-level challenges and recommend HR interventions
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Build strong employee connect across sales teams
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Drive engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
5. Performance Management & Compensation (In collaboration with CoE - Talent Management / CoE – HR Operations Teams)
- Drive performance management systems (goal setting, reviews, appraisals)
- Partner with leadership on compensation benchmarking and revisions
- Ensure pay-for-performance culture across levels
- Support incentive design for sales teams
6. Learning & Development (In collaboration with Talent Management Team)
- Identify capability gaps and design L&D interventions
- Drive leadership development programs and succession planning
- Build training frameworks for manufacturing and sales workforce
7. HR Operations & Governance
- Ensure smooth HR operations across locations
- Drive policy implementation, process standardization, and HR analytics
- Monitor HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, productivity, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal governance frameworks
Key Requirements
Experience & Background
- 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Retail / FMCG industries
- Strong generalist HR exposure across all HR functions
- Proven experience in bulk hiring and scaling teams
- Hands-on experience as HRBP for large sales organizations
Education
- Postgraduate in MSW (HRM) / MBA (HRM) / MA (HRM)
- From reputed Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- High business acumen and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution ability
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-growth environments
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in Hindi (mandatory)
- Willingness to travel 5–10 days per month across India
- Ability to manage diverse and distributed workforce
