Summary

The Human Resource Generalist – APAC is responsible for supporting a private equity-backed, global organization in talent and culture initiatives. The Human Resource Generalist is a hands-on role responsible for developing relationships with internal partners and designing effective programs that support the company’s strategic initiatives. The Human Resource Generalist will have expertise in the APAC region and partner with the HR Manager in the Plano, TX office to support multiple HR disciplines. 

Location: Pune, India (IN) - Onsite

Essential Duties And Responsibilities 

  • HR Operations
  • Work with benefit's Broker and respond to Benefit questions
  • Process Payroll andmaintainaccurateemployee records
  • Ensure compliance with APAC employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Responsible for maintaining APAC employee compliance records and filings
  • Assist with policy maintenance and annual review of internal HR processes and procedures
  • Ensure data integrity of employment records
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
  • Manage the recruitment process, including recruitment and sourcing, job postings, resume screening, interviews, compensation recommendations, and hiring decisions
  • Onboard new employees
  • Training and Development:
  • Assist with developing and facilitating training and development programs to support organizational and role-based professional development needs 
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees and managers on professional development opportunities
  • Immigration
  • Assess immigration requests and partner with managers and outside counsel to ensure compliance and proper filing
  • Employee Relations
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address workplace issues and concerns
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Assist managers and employees in terminations and offboarding activities
  • Performance Management:
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on OKR goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • HR Programs
  • Understand and assess the needs of the business to create programs that boost culture and employee engagement
  • Additional duties may be assigned asrequired

Required Knowledge And Skills

  • Proven self-starter with critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent, sound judgment when handling complex or sensitive HR matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintainthe utmost discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, payroll, and organizational information
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Singapore employment law and local payroll practices, including knowledge of SG Ministry of Manpower (MoM) compliance
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on time and within budget
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with all levels within an organization
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in managing employee data (HRIS)  
  • Trusted advisor and subject matter expert to both managers and employees 
  • Viewed as an active participant and cultural ambassador living the Armor Commitment and Core Values.  
  • Demonstrates empathy, applies common sense, and logic to address HR matters
  • Acts with integrity and a high sense of ethics

Experience And Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field, orthe equivalentwork experience. 
  • 3 + years of HR generalist or related HR experience in APAC
  • Demonstrated understanding andproficiencyin Singapore Employment
  • Demonstratedproficiencyin talent acquisition, learning & development, and global employment law
  • IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP) is strongly preferred 
  • Proventrack record in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Microsoft Office Suite 
  • HRIS (ADP or other) system experience
