Hub Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day hub operations including inbound, storage, sorting, and dispatch
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment as per defined SLAs
• Coordinate with transportation and last-mile delivery teams to ensure smooth dispatches
• Lead, train, and manage hub staff including supervisors, associates, and contractual manpower

Inventory & Process Control

• Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation
• Minimize shrinkage, damages, and operational losses
• Implement SOPs and continuous process improvements to enhance productivity

Team & Manpower Management

• Workforce planning to meet daily and peak demand requirements
• Drive performance management, discipline, and engagement at the hub

Cost & Performance Management

• Monitor hub KPIs such as productivity, turnaround time, fill rate, and cost per order
• Control operational costs while maintaining service quality
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and statutory compliance norms
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and asset safety within the hub

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with central ops, supply chain, category, and city teams
• Act as the single point of contact for hub-related escalations in the region

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations
• Hands-on experience in e-commerce / FMCG / Q-commerce environments
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Data-driven mindset with strong MIS and reporting skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-scaling operations
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Operations preferred)
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in hub/warehouse/logistics operations
• Experience managing large teams and multi-shift operations
