Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and proactive HR professional to manage workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance for our railway business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong talent-hiring ability, worker management skills, and experience in handling industrial staff in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for skilled, semi-skilled, and technical workers.
- Plan workforce requirements according to production and project needs.
- Handle employee onboarding, joining formalities, and induction.
- Maintain attendance, leave, shift, and manpower records.
- Support worker discipline, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with department heads for staffing and performance issues.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, factory rules, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
- Support training, skill development, and employee engagement activities.
- Handle exit formalities, settlement, and retention planning.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in
talent hiring
and manpower planning.
- Good understanding of worker management in industrial or manufacturing setups.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage blue-collar and technical workforce effectively.
- Knowledge of HR compliance, labour law, and factory administration.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced railway engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in HR, preferably in engineering, railway, fabrication, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in recruitment of welders, fitters, machinists, supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Familiarity with payroll, attendance systems, and HR software.

- Able to work with management as well as shop-floor workers.
