About The Role
The Human Resource Generalist II at KW Rastall Oil plays a vital role in managing the daily functions of our HR department. This in-person position involves recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff, administering employee benefits, managing leave policies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The role requires a proactive approach to employee relations, talent management, and HR program execution. The Human Resource Generalist II will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance and support across various HR functions to foster a positive and compliant workplace environment.
This position requires daily travel to our main office, with no remote work options available. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices to support our company's strategic objectives effectively.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess 3-5 years of human resource experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR functions and employment laws. Proficiency with the company's HRIS system (ADP) and talent management software is mandatory. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, and exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of employment-related regulations at federal, state, and local levels is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

- Implements tailored onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company culture and operational workflow.
- Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Handles disciplinary matters, employee disputes, and investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Participates in employee performance evaluations, talent management initiatives, and recognition programs to promote a motivated workforce.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Addresses employment-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
- Attends disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring legal and procedural adherence.
- Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal updates to continuously improve HR processes and compliance.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support the HR department and organizational objectives.
