Job description:
We have a job opening for a Healthcare Reporting Analyst with good working
knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, Discern Analytics, MS Power BI and Crystal Reports. This
Developer position will focus primarily on transforming complex clinical, financial, and operational
data into actionable reports and dashboards to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency,
and regulatory compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Developer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for RCM reports, data extracts and data cubes.
He/she will work with the stakeholders to help identify problem areas related to compliance and
process adherence by providing meaningful reporting insights and, thereby, facilitating RCA;
- Developer should possess the requisite domain knowledge and analytical skills to:
1> prepare reports and data extracts related to topics including but not limited to User Productivity,
Patient Access Management, Location and Bed Management, Insurance Plan Management, Charge
Management, Financial Transaction Management, Reimbursement Management, Guarantor Billing
and Collection, Billing Audit and Reconciliation, Patient Receivables Management and Revenue
Management.
2> prepare reports related to ADT, Case Management, Hospital Census Management, Medication
Reconciliation, Problems and Diagnoses, Plan of Care, Clinical Notes, Orders, Assessments, Lab and
Micro Results, Provider Documentation, Medication Administration, Pharmacy and Critical Care
Management.
- Developer should be able to assist stakeholders in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to
suggest improvements in cost and care quality;
- Developer will also be responsible for creating in-house reports and analytical dashboards for
Caerus IT Consulting, working with the company management and administrative staff to translate
business requirements into technical specs, while complying with organizational protocols, business
standards and procedural boundaries;
- Developer needs to have hands-on expertise in design and build of custom reports for Healthcare
applications using reporting tools like Crystal Reports, Power BI or Discern Analytics. Experience with
ETL development will be helpful but not mandatory;
- Developer must possess the ability to understand the interoperability between various
components within the application suite, the functioning of the associated business processes and
operations and the integration mechanism that binds them together; must be able to work
effectively with all levels of client staff; must be forward thinking; should have the ability to meet
project deadlines; must possess high levels of energy and professional acumen; must be able to
work both independently as well as a part of a team;
- Experience in Healthcare Analytics (preferred);
- Experience with Healthcare applications such as Epic, Cerner Soarian or Oracle Health (preferred);
Candidate must have:
- Strong knowledge in database concepts, database performance tuning, data profiling and data
validation, dimensional modelling.
- 4+ years of experience in database development using MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Core experience in building complex SQL Queries and implementing indexing in MS SQL Database
to perform computing on large scale Databases.
- Experience in creation of complex stored procedures involving but not limited to CTEs, explicit
transactions, XML shredding and exception handling.
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
- Experience in writing SQL scripts and/or creating SQL jobs for generating flat files or populating
spreadsheets.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP Crystal Report.
- A strong knack for implementing automation techniques (EXTREMELY VITAL FOR THIS PROJECT).
