Job Description
The International Federation of Esports (IFES) is seeking a visionary and result-oriented Head – Sponsorship & Partnerships to drive global revenue and strategic collaborations. This leadership role will be responsible for building long-term partnerships with leading brands, publishers, media houses, and ecosystem stakeholders across the esports and gaming industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead global sponsorship strategy and revenue generation across tournaments, leagues, and international events
- Identify, pitch, and close high-value sponsorship deals with global brands and corporates
- Build and nurture relationships with CMOs, brand leaders, media agencies, and decision-makers
- Develop innovative partnership models, including naming rights, media integrations, and digital activations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sponsor deliverables and brand visibility
- Drive multi-country partnerships and expand IFES presence across global markets
- Work closely with publishers, teams, and technology partners for ecosystem growth
- Manage and mentor the sponsorship and partnerships team across regions
- Track market trends in esports, gaming, media, and digital entertainment
- Ensure achievement of annual revenue targets and growth KPIs
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 8–15 years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or commercial roles
- Strong global network across brands, agencies, media, and esports/gaming industry
- Proven track record of closing large-ticket sponsorship deals
- Experience in sports, esports, media, entertainment, or large-scale events
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to lead cross-border partnerships and multicultural teams
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
PACKAGE:
INR 700,000/- to INR 10,00,000/- + Variables
