Role Description
The Head of Operations at Cove & Lane will oversee end-to-end operational activities, ensuring that production, inventory, warehouse, and fulfillment processes run efficiently and align with brand standards. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru will manage cross-functional coordination between design, production, merchandising, and customer service to support on-time product launches and consistent quality. The person in this role will develop and refine operational processes, implement performance metrics, and use data to drive decisions related to capacity, supply chain, and cost optimization. They will lead and mentor operations teams, establish clear goals, and ensure smooth day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, growing fashion environment. The Head of Operations will also collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, vendor management, and scaling operations as the brand expands.
1. Customer support and retention management
2. Inventory Operations and Warehouse management
3. Product Returns and data analysis
4. Logistics and vendor management
5. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and organizational growth
6. Managing business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management experience, including process design, warehouse coordination, and execution in a product-based or fashion/lifestyle brand environment.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to track KPIs, forecast demand, and optimize resources.
- Proven Team Management and leadership capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and building high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners and vendors.
- Budgeting and cost management skills, including planning, monitoring, and optimizing operational expenses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or consumer lifestyle brands is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and to work on-site in Bengaluru full-time.
