Head of Maintenance (Deputation at Oman)

Location: Oman

We are seeking an experienced Head – Maintenance cum Mechanical to lead maintenance operations at our plant in Duqm, Oman. The role involves driving plant reliability, leading maintenance teams, and ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operations.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, resolving critical technical issues, and leading initiatives such as plant debottlenecking and energy conservation. The role also includes budgeting, coordination with engineering teams for documentation and regulatory compliance, and supporting overall plant statutory requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of the plant.
2. Guide maintenance team to resolve day to day maintenance issues.
3. Lead and implement projects related to de-bottle necking of plant.
4. Drive initiatives related to Energy Conservation.
5. Prepare annual budget for maintenance.
6. Co-ordinate with Head production Engineering team at HO for drawings and documentation update with respect to local regulation (i.e. Construction Permit) and ensure Construction permit is updated with respect to latest IFC drawings.
7. Guide head electrical for electrical maintenance related issues.
8. Support plant head to maintain statutory regulations

Experience :-

1. Min.16 to 18 yrs of experience of Maintenance Management of Fertilizer / Petrochemical plant out of which 5 yrs.of experience in the capacity of Head maintenance.
2. Exposure to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is desired.
3. Exposure to API machines ( Vertical centrifugal pumps;Centrifugal Compressors; Integrally geared compressors; Twin Screw Compressors; Screw Compressors; Reciprocating Compressors and Steam turbine) is must.
4. Experience in Oman is preferred.
5. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
