As the Head of Domain, you are responsible for delivering cost efficient, innovative solutions to Business Partners, optimizing the time-to-market.

Shaping Direction:

Develop a strategic IT landscape and architecture based on the BU/ divisional roadmap in alignment with DPDHL goals and the product roadmaps with special focus on AI.
Keep abreast of technology and business advances in order to ensure the Domain is competitive for future revenue streams.
Is an advisor and expert to the business units on specific IT and functional topics relevant to the Domain.
Drives the Project Management excellence agenda globally for ITS across all departments.
Plans and Manages budget and revenue projections P&L responsibility whilst steering the team to the delivery of fit-for-purpose, on-time, on-quality solutions, balance ITS revenue growth with BU satisfaction.
Establish and implement ITS strategy, policies and standards in the area of AI for P&P Solutions and that have short to long-term (1-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with global and functional objectives.
Influences key business stakeholders’ to ensure effective senior management commitment for IT programs.
Global role with stakeholders and teams in multiple geographies
Member of IT Services P&P Solutions Senior Management Board and other global Boards.

Business Acumen:

Is responsible budget and cost for the department.
Meeting the budget in each cost category, monthly forecast accuracy.
Optimizing the delivery cost through effective sourcing strategy, efficiency gains, eliminating waste, continuous improvement, automation and innovation.
Working across ITS departments to collaborate on innovation to help differentiate from the competition.

Building and Leading Teams:

Creating an engaged global workforce of around 100 employees in direct line by providing challenging and rewarding opportunities for professional growth and development, aligned with the business organization.
Responsible for global cooperation to ensure that teams work together across locations to best serve the interest of DHL.
Responsible for establishing and demonstrating a working culture within the Domain that ensures maximum co-operation between ITS departments (One Team).
Drive upskilling of the Domain teams to remain current and marketable to Business partners and change skills sets from non-core to core Skills and services where appropriate.
Ensure EOS scores and NPA scores reach expectations annually.
Ensure the Domain has the right capacity levels to meet demand by skill and service.
Build a cohesive Project delivery community across ITS.

A University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or Business Administration. MBA an advantage.
As a Head of Domain, having seasoned professional in Information Technology, with more than 18+ years management experience in a multinational company is significant. Strongly demonstrated leadership in service, customer orientation, project management and communication skills will also be an integral part of this role.
You have experience in working in multi-cultural environment, managing large project teams in direct and widely dispersed geographical locations. You also have demonstrated leadership in service, customer orientation, project management and communication skills.
You must excel in managing global multi-site organizations, demonstrating strong financial acumen and commercial savvy. Your ability to influence senior managers outside traditional hierarchies is crucial, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals. You should inspire and motivate highly skilled teams, guiding their career development effectively.
A solid grasp of complex system integration and networking architectures is necessary, along with an innovative approach to technology. Your proficiency in budgeting and cost management will drive results-oriented performance across diverse locations. Building effective relationships with business partners and stakeholders should be second nature, reflecting your commitment to delivering high-quality service with a strong focus on goal achievement.
