As we enter the next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Head – Business Development to lead brand building, patient acquisition, centre growth, partnerships, and revenue expansion across the organization.
Role Overview
The Head – Marketing & Business Development will be responsible for driving the organization's growth agenda through integrated marketing, patient acquisition, business development, referral networks, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
This role requires a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader who can build a powerful healthcare brand while simultaneously driving measurable business outcomes across all centres.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in healthcare, hospitals, diagnostics, wellness, healthcare startups, or multi-location service businesses.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the national marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Lead brand positioning, awareness, and reputation management initiatives.
- Build Cancer Healer Centre into one of India's most recognized healthcare brands.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, media, and community channels.
- Oversee SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, content marketing, ORM, and social media strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets and optimize return on investment.
Patient Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Drive patient acquisition across all centres through performance-driven marketing initiatives.
- Improve lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-visit, and visit-to-treatment conversion ratios.
- Develop scalable patient acquisition models across digital and offline channels.
- Work closely with call centre, operations, and centre teams to maximize patient conversions.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Build and strengthen referral networks with doctors, hospitals, corporates, TPAs, NGOs, wellness organizations, and healthcare partners.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and strategic alliances.
- Develop partnerships that support patient acquisition and revenue growth.
- Lead corporate outreach, institutional partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
Expansion & Market Development
- Support expansion planning and go-to-market strategies for new centres.
- Conduct market assessments, competitor analysis, and location feasibility studies.
- Develop launch strategies for new centres and business verticals.
- Strengthen CHC's presence across key regional markets.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Development, CRM, and Patient Acquisition teams.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Build a high-performance, data-driven growth culture.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization.
Business Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor marketing ROI, CAC, lead quality, conversion rates, and centre-level growth metrics.
- Prepare monthly business reviews and growth reports for leadership.
- Drive data-backed decision-making across marketing and business development functions.
Candidate Profile Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, Healthcare Marketing, or Strategy will be advantageous.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Growth, Revenue, or Commercial Leadership roles.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-functional teams.
- Experience in healthcare, hospitals, diagnostics, healthcare startups, wellness, pharmaceuticals, or consumer healthcare preferred.
