The platform powers video delivery across multiple devices including Android, iOS, Roku, Samsung, LG, Apple TV and other Smart TV platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Apps who will lead the architecture, development, and delivery of Revidd’s entire application ecosystem across mobile and TV platforms. This role will own app performance, user experience, and cross-device application delivery for OTT streaming services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of OTT apps across Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, and Fire TV.
• Own app performance, monitoring, crash analytics, and playback optimization across devices.- Ensure seamless streaming with HLS/DASH playback, adaptive bitrate streaming, and DRM integration.
• Manage engineering teams across mobile and TV platforms and drive delivery timelines.
• Oversee app store deployments including Google Play, Apple App Store, Roku Store, Samsung Store, and LG Store.
• Collaborate with product, delivery, and client teams to translate requirements into scalable app solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in multi-platform application development.
• Strong knowledge of OTT streaming technologies and video playback systems.
• Experience building apps across mobile and connected TV ecosystems.
• Understanding of DRM systems such as Widevine, FairPlay, and PlayReady.
• Experience managing engineering teams and large-scale application releases.
