Job Description

Responsibilities

Act as the technical authority and SME for all wet infrastructure and Infra MEP design decisions. Develop and implement strategic design plans aligned with company objectives and project requirements.
Head the conceptualization, detailed design, and engineering of all wet systems and MEP for various land parcels ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international standards, and in close coordination with local Authorities like MCGM.
Oversee and review all wet design drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.
Drive the adoption of new technologies, sustainable design practices, and energy-efficient solutions in wet infrastructure and MEP systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering for wet systems to ensure designs optimize performance, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with Master planner and other engineering disciplines, PMC team to ensure integrated and coordinated designs, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for wet design activities.
Represent the company in discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure all wet designs comply with local statutory regulations, codes, and permitting requirements in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Head integration of Smart City and SCADA systems within wet utilities and MEP networks. Oversee deployment of SCADA for real-time monitoring, fault diagnostics, and energy efficiency. Oversee HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems design and integration within city infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical compliance and seamless interoperability of wet systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with knowledge of design software such as Water GEMS, SWMM, AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, etc.
More than 15 years of work experience, with over 10 years of independently heading a function in mid to large-scale organisations in the relevant sector.
Experience in MNCs, Indian companies, or conglomerates, specifically in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors, with a variety of experience in wet utilities, Infra MEP systems, and smart city integration.
