YOUR TASKS

• Designing, developing, testing, and verifying complex hardware components and systems.
• Lead creative development and design of drone hardware for various applications.
• Resolving hardware related issues in a timely manner by applying technical expertise to identify root causes and solutions.
• Design and execute hardware tests, run simulations, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary adjustments.
• Ensuring hardware standards and principles are met in the hardware design and implementation process.
• Collaborating with other engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with software programs.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimum performance of hardware systems.
• Working with our manufacturing team to optimize and validate designs for production.
• Performing reliability analysis and risk assessments of new and existing hardware systems.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of all relevant specifications, system designs, and project data.
• Conducting technical briefings and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Staying abreast with the latest advancements and best practices in hardware engineering and suggesting improvements to existing hardware systems.
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or Ph.D. would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in hardware engineering.
• Extensive experience in hardware development, testing, and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design.
• Proficiency in using hardware design and analysis tools, such as OrCAD, Allegro, or Xpedition.
• Experience working with Printed Circuit Board (PCB), FPGA, ASIC, and microprocessor systems.
• Familiarity with hardware testing tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and lead projects.
• Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing business conditions.
• Knowledge of the latest advances in hardware engineering and a commitment to staying updated with evolving technologies.
• A professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
