Growth Operator – New Zones Intern | Gharpayy

At Gharpayy, Growth Operators don't observe growth—they build it.

You will be responsible for launching, operating, and scaling new micro-markets by creating supply, generating demand, converting customers into bookings, and making every zone commercially successful.

This is a high-ownership role where your performance is measured by business outcomes, not hours worked.

Key Ownership Areas

  • Market Expansion

Identify high-potential micro-markets through research and on-ground validation.

Map competitors, pricing, occupancy, customer demand, and growth opportunities.

Build an expansion plan for every assigned zone.

  • Supply Acquisition

Identify, approach, negotiate, and onboard high-quality PG partners.

Ensure every onboarded property meets Gharpayy's quality, pricing, and customer standards.

Build sufficient inventory to support demand generation.

  • Demand Generation

Generate qualified customer demand using online and offline channels.

Execute local marketing initiatives to create consistent lead flow.

Build relationships with colleges, companies, hostels, and referral partners.

  • PG Booking & Revenue Ownership

Own the complete customer journey from inquiry to move-in.

Consult customers, recommend suitable properties, schedule visits, handle objections, and close PG bookings.

Coordinate documentation, payments, confirmations, and successful move-ins.

Maximize occupancy and revenue across assigned properties.

  • Zone Performance Management

Track bookings, occupancy, conversion rates, customer feedback, and revenue.

Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements immediately.

Ensure assigned zones consistently achieve business targets.

  • Partner Success

Build long-term relationships with PG partners.

Resolve operational issues quickly.

Improve partner satisfaction, occupancy, and repeat business.

  • Process Excellence

Create and improve SOPs that enable new zones to scale efficiently.

Document best practices and implement repeatable execution systems.

Ensure CRM, reporting, and operational data remain accurate and up to date.

  • Leadership & Execution

Work directly with founders and leadership on strategic initiatives.

Take ownership of projects from planning to execution.

Support onboarding and mentoring of future Growth Operators.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

Your performance will be evaluated based on measurable business outcomes, including:

New PG partners onboarded

Active inventory created

Qualified customer leads generated

Property visits scheduled

Visit-to-booking conversion rate

PG bookings closed

Revenue generated

Occupancy improvement

Customer satisfaction

Partner retention

CRM and reporting accuracy

Speed of execution and problem resolution
