Role Description
This is a full-time Governance Coordinator (Compliance) role based on-site at our Ernakulam location. The role involves overseeing and ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and generating compliance reports. The Coordinator will provide training to team members on compliance processes, monitor changes in relevant legislation, and ensure alignment with organizational policies. The role also involves collaboration across departments and clear communication to ensure adherence to governance standards and procedures.
4–6 years’ experience in a governance coordination, board secretariat, or committee administration role, preferably within higher education or another regulated environment. Demonstrated experience in preparing formal, high-quality governance minutes for Boards, Academic Boards, or senior committees is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Organize board and committee meetings by preparing agendas, recording minutes, and ensuring timely distribution of meeting materials.
2.Verify accuracy and completeness of reports before submission and ensure their timely delivery for upcoming meetings.
3.Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and regulatory requirements by maintaining robust governance frameworks, policies, and procedure.
4.Identify areas for improvement in governance processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
5.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on governance matters while facilitating communication between leadership and board members.
6.Conduct governance training for employees and board members while promoting best practices in governance
