Position : Sales Officer
Location : Varanasi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Delhi, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabada
Job Summary
The Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products in the assigned territory. The role includes developing distributor networks, increasing market penetration, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the product lines.
- Appoint and manage distributors, stockists, and retailers in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular market visits
- Promote Ayurvedic products and explain their benefits, ingredients, and usage to retailers and customers.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and merchandising in retail outlets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Collect orders, ensure timely supply and stock availability at distributor and retail levels.
- Conduct product awareness campaigns, retailer meetings, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and market feedback.
- Coordinate with internal teams for logistics, marketing, and customer support.
Key Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Preference for Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business).
- Experience: 2–5 years in FMCG / Ayurvedic / Pharma sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of local market and retail network.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Basic knowledge of Ayurvedic products and health supplements will be an advantage.
