About the role
NCS is a performance marketing agency headquartered in Mohali, serving universities, healthcare brands, and funded D2C businesses across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and global. We are hiring our first dedicated Google Ads Specialist to own the channel end-to-end — strategy, campaign builds, optimisation, and reporting across our retained client portfolio.
Success in this role looks like: client accounts consistently hitting their lead and revenue targets, budgets paced without surprises, clean conversion tracking on every account, and weekly reporting that gives clients insight rather than just numbers. Within six months, you are the undisputed owner of Google Ads performance at the agency.
This role reports directly to the Founder and works alongside our Client Success Manager and Meta Ads specialist. As the paid media practice grows, this position is set up to lead the Google Ads function, including future junior hires.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and optimise Search, Performance Max, Display, Demand Gen, and YouTube campaigns across education, healthcare, and D2C client accounts
- Own budget pacing, bid strategy, and spend efficiency across all Google Ads accounts, flagging risks proactively before they impact performance
- Set up and maintain accurate conversion tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion APIs
- Collaborate with the content and creative team to ensure ad-to-landing-page message match and conversion-focused user journeys
- Prepare weekly performance reports per account with clear analysis and recommendations, maintained in ClickUp
- Support the Client Success Manager with performance narratives for client reviews and join client calls as the channel expert when needed
- Run a structured testing programme across creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies, and document learnings for the wider team
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on Google Ads experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously; agency experience preferred
- Proven results with lead-generation campaigns (education or healthcare sector experience is a strong plus) and/or e-commerce campaigns
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and campaign quality-assurance processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; working proficiency in Hindi or Punjabi is a plus for client contexts
- Comfortable working in a process-driven environment with tools such as ClickUp and a weekly reporting rhythm
- Google Ads certification preferred; demonstrated results matter more
