Job Description
Role Overview
As Google Ads Account Director, you will own the performance direction, account architecture, and spend governance of Google Ads programs across multiple clients. This role requires a deep understanding of scalable account systems, MCC management, budget allocation, and growth execution within an agency environment.
You will work closely with consultants, specialists, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are structured, scaled, and reported with precision.
Key Responsibilities- Lead performance strategy and growth planning across multiple Google Ads accounts
- Oversee and manage accounts through Google Ads Manager (MCC)
- Define account structures, naming conventions, and optimization frameworks at scale
- Own budget planning, spend pacing, and performance forecasting
- Supervise and validate billing, invoicing, and spend reconciliation across client accounts
- Review account performance, identify risks and growth opportunities, and drive corrective actions
- Guide consultants and specialists on execution best practices and optimization standards
- Deliver executive-level performance insights and strategic recommendations
- Senior-level experience managing Google Ads at an agency or multi-client level
- Strong hands-on experience with MCC-based account management
- Proven ability to manage large or complex ad budgets with clear performance accountability
- Solid understanding of Google Ads billing, invoicing workflows, and spend control
- Performance-driven mindset with a focus on sustainable growth
- Experience leading or mentoring paid media teams is highly preferred
- Managing Google Ads programs for enterprise, multi-location, or high-growth brands
- Experience with both lead generation and e-commerce performance models
- Working closely with finance or operations teams on media spend governance
- Designing scalable account systems used across regions or markets
- Remote-first, flexible working model
