Job Description
Location: Hyderabad, India (On-Site)

Experience: 8–15 years
Function: Government, PSU, Defence & Infrastructure Sales
AccelUAV is a defence and government focused UAV execution company working across survey, mapping, surveillance, and homeland security use cases.
We are looking for one senior, execution driven sales leader to own high value government, PSU, defence, and EPC sales end to end.
This is not a marketing or advisory role. It is a closure, negotiation, and collections oriented role, working directly with the Co-Founder.
Revenue Ownership
- Own the complete sales cycle: lead → proposal → negotiation → work order → payment
- Close high value contracts with government departments, PSUs, defence organisations, and infrastructure players
- Drive urgency and movement in slow-moving government files
Government & PSU Sales Execution
- Build and manage relationships across state departments, PSUs, defence organisations, and EPC partners
- Navigate approvals, file movement, and decision hierarchies
- Work with senior advisors and rainmakers to access decision-makers
Proposals, Tenders & Commercials
- Lead commercial structuring and proposal strategy
- Work closely with the tender and operations teams on compliance, pricing, and feasibility
- Participate in bid clarifications and negotiations
Payments & Collections
- Ensure advance payments and milestone-based billing
- Track invoicing and follow up until cash is realized
- Proactively escalate payment delays when required
Founder & Operations Coordination
- Bring the Founder in at critical stages (final negotiation, senior assurance)
- Validate all commercial commitments with operations before closure
- Ensure sales promises align with delivery capability
- ₹10-12 Cr in signed and realized revenue annually
- Consistent high value closures (minimum 1 per month)
- Advance payments secured on all projects
- Healthy cash flow discipline (DSO under 60 days)
- 8–15 years experience in government / PSU / defence / EPC sales
- Proven track record of closing large-ticket contracts (₹ 1 Cr+)
- Strong understanding of government procurement and approval processes
- Comfortable handling negotiations, follow ups, and collections
- Execution first, outcome oriented mindset
Good to Have
- Exposure to infrastructure, GIS, drones, defence, or surveillance solutions
- Existing government or PSU relationships
Not a Fit If You
- Are primarily from a marketing or SaaS background
- Are looking for an advisory or brand building role
- Are uncomfortable owning collections and accountability
- Expect a large team or long gestation sales cycles
- Variable: Performance linked incentive on realized revenue
- Growth oriented role with direct founder access and high ownership
