Job Description
The Global Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for building workforce capability and engagement through learning. The role works directly with HR, business partners, and teams as part of a collaborative Global Talent Center to identify, develop and refine learning solutions to address business needs.

Job Description
The Global Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for building workforce capability and engagement through learning. The role works directly with HR, business partners, and teams as part of a collaborative Global Talent Center to identify, develop and refine learning solutions to address business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end instructional design, development and maintenance of global learning content under Greif University.
- Consults with internal business partners to assess individual and organizational level effectiveness challenges and provide recommendations of relevant learning solutions.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to design engaging learning solutions that drive business impact and behavior change.
- Support internal departments with functional training and content requests, ensuring alignment with Global standards.
- Ability to craft world-class learning experiences using classroom learning, e-Learning, job aids and checklists, micro-learning, video, podcasting and more.
- Conduct program tracking, analysis & reporting, and implementation of processes and/or improvements to ensure successful and sustainable deployment of programs.
- Provides end-to-end administration of Lead to Last, from scheduling through delivery, evaluation, and post-program reporting.
- Partner with Global Learning team to continuously optimize and enhance our Greif University Learning Management System (Workday Learning), ensuring seamless course delivery, and supporting analytics to measure course utilization, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Coordinates and contributes to the Global Learning and Development team’s communications, including the Global L&D SharePoint site, newsletter, and announcements.
- Other duties, as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a learning management role with demonstrated skills and experience in the coordination and execution of learning initiatives.
- Highly proficient with learning authoring software such as Adobe Articulate, Captivate, WellSaid, etc.
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong program management experience that includes managing multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Possess a high level of ability to creatively problem solve.
- Must be able to perform efficiently within a collaborative, fast paced team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
