OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking a confident, pragmatic, and experienced Global HR Services Manager to join our dynamic HR Services team in India. This is a client-facing role that provides end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle.
You will act as the central coordinator for HR-related information between clients, international workforces, and external partners such as in-country partners and payroll service providers in India. This role focuses on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of HR documentation and responses, including contracts, addenda, and terminations. You’ll thrive in this autonomous position by maintaining exceptional organization, attention to detail, and clear communication under tight deadlines.
We are especially interested in candidates who have experience supporting workforces in India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client-Facing HR Support
- Coordinate the sharing of HR and compliance information between clients, employees, and local experts to ensure alignment with local legislation.
- Organize compliant employment contracts, amendments, extensions, and related documents tailored to local labor laws, and based on input from in-country partners.
- Support the resignation and termination processes by gathering necessary information, managing documentation, and liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and timeliness.
- Assist in complex employee relations cases by facilitating communication between clients and in-country partners to ensure issues are managed in line with local processes.
- Ensure accurate communication and documentation of local leave policies (maternity/paternity, sickness, sabbatical, etc.) through coordination with payroll providers and in-country HR experts
- Maintain a strong understanding of local statutory and supplemental benefits (e.g., pension, medical, meal vouchers, etc.) and coordinate any enrollments or deregistrations.
Collaboration and Internal Expertise
- Work with external subject matter experts (local payroll and HR firms) for the facilitation and coordination of information.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Onboarding, Client Success Managers, Payroll, and Sales.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience as an HR generalist, and ideally with experience across the employee lifecycle.
- Demonstrated HR experience in Indian law and Jurisdiction
- An interest in employment law, contracts, and statutory obligations across Indian jurisdiction.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in client-facing environments.
- Proven ability to handle high volumes of varied HR tasks across multiple time zones and cultures.
- High attention to detail, fantastic organizational skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
