Global Ethics, Compliance & Governance Lead – 6 months contract


A global technology leader, in partnership with Elevate, is seeking an accomplished Global Ethics, Compliance & Governance Lead for a high‑impact 6‑month contract role based in Hyderabad. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional who can strengthen enterprise‑wide compliance programs, elevate governance standards, and support strategic growth across international markets.

In this role, you will partner closely with senior executives, board members, and cross‑functional leaders to embed a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability across the organisation, while ensuring alignment with global legal and regulatory expectations.


Key Responsibilities-


  • Global Compliance Leadership:
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance global compliance frameworks aligned with applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, FCPA, anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption laws, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Risk Management & Assurance:
  • Lead enterprise‑wide compliance risk assessments, internal audits, investigations, and remediation initiatives. Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimise risk exposure and strengthen internal controls.
  • Corporate Governance Oversight:
  • Oversee corporate governance frameworks, including board and committee processes, statutory filings, and governance policies. Advise senior leadership on governance obligations, disclosures, SOX requirements, and leading governance practices.
  • Policies, Training & Culture:
  • Develop, review, and deliver compliance, ethics, and governance policies, procedures, and training programs to promote informed decision‑making, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement:
  • Build strong partnerships with Legal, HR, Finance, IT, and Operations teams. Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and external advisors, and prepare clear, concise compliance updates and reports for executive leadership and the board.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in compliance, governance, or legal functions, including leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience working within multinational and/or technology‑driven environments.
  • Strong commercial judgment with excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CCEP, GRC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
