Company Description Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to convert non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company prioritizes revenue-first enzyme production for sectors such as textiles and wastewater treatment, and subsequently focuses on high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials. Its technology is optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-efficient and scalable circular manufacturing. By valorizing farm residues, Cellumantra helps reduce farm-waste burning and lowers dependency on imported materials, contributing to climate resilience and sustainable industrial growth.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Global ClimateTech Fund Raising Consultant. The consultant will identify and prioritize relevant climate, impact, and deep-tech investors, including venture capital, private equity, strategic corporates, family offices, and grant-making bodies across global markets. Daily tasks include researching investor theses, mapping fit with Cellumantra’s technology and business model, and building a structured outreach pipeline. The role involves preparing and refining investor collateral such as pitch decks, financial models, impact narratives, and data rooms, and advising on fundraising strategy, valuation, and deal structuring. The consultant will coordinate investor meetings, support due diligence processes, track fundraising progress, and provide regular reporting to the founding team while aligning capital-raising activities with the company’s climate and circular economy objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in climate tech, cleantech, or deep-tech fundraising, with a strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, and grant ecosystems.
• Proven track record in investor sourcing, pipeline building, and closing equity or grant funding rounds for early-stage startups.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills, including familiarity with unit economics and project finance for industrial or manufacturing ventures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting investor decks, impact narratives, and concise, data-backed investment materials.
• Ability to manage end-to-end fundraising workflows, including data room preparation, due diligence support, and negotiation assistance.
• Knowledge of climate impact metrics, circular economy principles, and sustainability reporting frameworks is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working remotely and collaboratively with a small founding team, with high levels of initiative, ownership, and ethical standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field; prior experience with global or India-focused climate funds is a plus.
