Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mysore for a dedicated German Tutor. The German Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, designing tailored lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Additional responsibilities may include preparing learning materials, incorporating cultural elements into instruction, and supporting students in achieving their language learning goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills
• Experience in teaching or tutoring German, with skills in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students
• Patience, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for teaching and language instruction
• Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and creating interactive learning materials
• Bachelor’s degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (preferred)
• Language proficiency certification (e.g., TestDaF, Goethe-Zertifikat) is an advantage
• Prior experience teaching international exams such as TestDaF or Goethe exams is a plus
