About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager – Projects with a strong background in solar ground-mounted EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive on-site experience, capable of handling project execution challenges, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and safety standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end execution of large-scale solar ground-mounted EPC projects.

Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.

Direct site operations, troubleshoot technical and operational issues, and implement effective solutions.

Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements at all project sites.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to achieve project milestones.

Develop and implement project risk management strategies and mitigation plans.

Monitor and report on project performance metrics, including cost, timeline, and quality benchmarks.

Mentor and guide project managers, engineers, and site staff to enhance team performance.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities for approvals, inspections, and project updates.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.

15–20+ years of experience in EPC project management, preferably in solar ground-mounted projects.

Strong hands-on experience at project sites, addressing operational and technical challenges.

Proven track record of managing multi-MW solar projects from inception to commissioning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong knowledge of project management tools, quality standards, safety regulations, and EPC contracts.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results on time.
