The Role


The General Manager - Accounts & Finance will drive the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong control over all accounting activities. The role involves managing cash flow, banking, and budgeting, while providing clear financial insights to support business decisions. You will play a key role in improving financial discipline, strengthening processes, and building a more efficient and reliable finance function


Key Responsibilities


  • Financial accounting, statutory reporting, book closure, and audit management - including cost audit compliance.
  • Treasury, banking relationships, working capital optimization, and management of fund-based/non-fund-based facilities.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting to senior leadership and the board.
  • Direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing for cross-border transactions, and FEMA/RBI compliance.
  • Product and plant costing, pricing support, and capex evaluation using IRR/ROI frameworks.
  • Group consolidation across Indian and international entities, including intercompany eliminations and JV financial governance.
  • Strategic partner coordination - financial reporting, performance reviews, and governance with LATI JV and other partners.
  • Internal controls, SOPs, risk management, and insurance oversight.
  • Export finance, forex exposure management, and hedging strategies.
  • ERP optimization, MIS enhancement, and finance process digitization.
  • Building and leading a high-performing finance team with strong second-line capability.


What We’re Looking For


  • Deep technical foundation across accounting, tax, treasury, and costing in a manufacturing context.
  • Hands-on experience with group consolidation, transfer pricing, and multi-entity compliance structures.
  • Strong commercial acumen - able to connect financial data to business decisions.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and complex capital structures.
  • Exposure to export-oriented operations and foreign currency management preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and a track record of driving finance process improvement.
