Position Name: FuReV and Cybersecurity Expert

Functional Area: Research and Development

Qualification: BE/ ME. (Electronics/Electrical/CompSci/Automobile)

Years of Experience: > 5 to 12 yrs.

Location: Pune, Chakan Plant.

Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):

• Work as an Expert for the Function Realization within Function Oriented Development Framework. Be responsible for the Realization of Function (Create / update / maintain: Function Realization Specification / Concept including Cybersecurity requirements, Cybersecurity Concept, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Analysis, Create / update / maintain Cybersecurity Case, relevant Testing, and validation for Function Realization).
• Lead the fulfillment and compliance to relevant regulations and standards including UNECE/EU/IN, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity, etc which are relevant for realization of functions with involved Components / ECUs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams incl vehicle integration, software, hardware, and regulatory affairs to ensure seamless development and testing of function realization.

Authority:

• Take a decision about release of Function Realization (FuRe Release) - incl. FuSa, Cybersecurity, involved ECUs.
• Responsible for Function Realization, estimations, budgeting - Plan, schedule, monitor and report the development activities (requirements, concept/architecture, integration, testing and validation) as per project time plan / Verbund plan.
• Responsible for project-specific scope of function throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage the technical function implementation - from a PM milestone to Series ramp-up
• Evaluate and approval of changes in Function Realization.
• Alignment and collaboration with various stakeholders - FCS, BtV, Cybersecurity, FuSa, Verbund Management, Integration and Vehicle.
• Approval of timesheet for externals upto 4 people.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Vehicle Electronic Systems / Architecture
• Knowledge of creating Vehicle System Requirements / Concept / Architecture / Analysis – incl. tools and methodologies for Automotive Product Cybersecurity
• Project Management, Verbal & Written Communication, Presentation skills
• Knowledge of Testing in different environments – incl ECU Testing, HiL Testing, Test Setups, Vehicle Testing and their tools and methodologies from Cybersecurity perspective
• Very good Knowledge of Cybersecurity in Road Vehicles - ISO 21434, UNECE R155, AIS189

Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

• Plan, schedule, monitor, report the function realization activities as per project milestones including Cybersecurity Plan, Cybersecurity Requirements, Cybersecurity Concept, Cybersecurity Testing / Validation, Cybersecurity Case.
• Create and maintain the implementation, integration, testing and validation plans
• Define technical Cybersecurity requirements / concepts for the implementation and integration of the function(s), define acceptance criteria
• Prioritize and resolve conflicts regarding function realization from Cybersecurity perspective
• Ensure compliance of function realization to regulations (UNECE R155, AIS 189, ISO21434), and Organization specific processes and guidelines (PEP)
• Review and approval of Test strategies and test concepts incl. Cybersecurity
• Specify and review the test-cases (incl. cybersecurity relevant) for integration / validation of components of the implemented function(s) / system
• Evaluate, define, approve and communicate the cybersecurity relevant changes in function implementations
• Cybersecurity Maturity assessment (ISM and Q-Gates) as well as monitoring the degree of implementation (integration) in the different components during function implementation.
• Review and approve Cybersec artefacts from ECU Suppliers and make release recommendation
• Create and approve FuRe-release recommendation
