Job Description

Job Purpose

To identify training needs across channels, co-create relevant content, deliver training at the last mile and drive all training initiatives to ensure that employees across sales channels are ready and equipped to interact with customers and intermediaries, and effectively follow the sales process. He would therefore be responsible to drive capability building and productivity parameters – which will include activation of inducted sales employees.

Job Context & Major Challenges

The role ensures that employees at all echelons are well capable to adapt, persist & reconstruct the dynamics of the industry. For the purpose, timely apropos trainings need to be designed & provided to the workforce, as also, employee performance needs to be looked into and motivation, appreciation, rewards & support must be provided in accordance to the requirement. The role also ensures talent is identified, nurtured and sustained by following well defined competency mapping & various other productive metrics.

KRA1 Facilitate conceptualization and implement and monitoring various RnR programs

  • Provide inputs on the structure, categories and sub-categories of recognition program with the objective of reinforcing key organizational drivers
  • Identify awards commensurate to each category and sub-category of awards
  • Compile the costs under various categories and analyse actual costs against budget
  • Create nomination forms and process flows for each category and sub-category, and liaise with IT team for building the online application for the program
  • Support line HR teams to implement the program
  • Process the nominations for the quarterly and annual categories
  • Analyse for the utilization of the program and recommend suitable modifications where necessary
  • Scrutinize nomination forms received for the recognition programs driven at the ABC and ABG level by working with line managers for any necessary modifications required towards strengthening the nomination

KRA2 To drive the classroom training, E-Learning Courses (Functional & Behavioural) & Team Capability Building.

  • Drive E-Learning Courses (Functional & Behavioural) across all 3 companies on Poornata Portal.
  • Send employees for centrally and unit conducted classroom training on the basis of TNA.
  • Design architecture for Team Capability Building. Focus on low cost and high impact intervention
  • Launch Team Capability Framework
  • Work closely with Functional Head and Talent head in design and execution.

KRA3 To interact and collate information from SME {Subject Matter Experts} and seek relevant approvals from various departments for accuracy & representation of content.

  • To involve SME and Stakeholder’s for content collation, scoping, updations and approvals at various touch points based on projects.
  • Example – Identity the SME and seek inputs for the created Topical Outline of defined Learning Objectives, ensure content is collated and understood from SME’s point of view.
  • Create learning asset as per the need of the learner, seek feedback/approvals for developed content from identified SME

KRA4 To conduct TNA {Training Need Analysis} and incorporate findings to produce an effective content where required.

  • To collate relevant sample size data and adopt relevant forms of Training need analysis
  • To conduct TNA by seeking relevant information
  • To analyze TNA data and convert insights & gaps into relevant learning material
  • To visit branches and collate observations to create content related to real life
  • To collate learning effectiveness testimonials and seek inputs from experts

KRA5 Design and develop effective training programs based on identified needs.

  • Evaluate business requirements, training needs & to recommend appropriate programs.
  • Lead the training delivery.
  • Engage with internal / external faculty / facilitators to identify & develop curriculum for training programs.
  • Recommend methodology for implementation and measures for testing effectiveness.
  • Map best practices, trends in the industry / function & derive applications of the same.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials to be used in the program.
  • Suggest branding options for programs.
  • Recommend changes to content, implementation methodology as required to enhance impact of program.
  • Facilitate, conduct and evaluate training programs as determined.
  • Create and maintain all documentation related to program content.
