Full Stack Developer (Founding Team) – AgriTech SaaS 📍 [Kolkata] | 💼 Full-Time | 🌿 Tea Estate Intelligence Platform
About Us
We're building business intelligence software purpose-built for the tea industry — ERP data ingestion, yield tracking, manpower planning, machinery analytics, weather integration, production dashboards, and more. The product is live, first users are onboarded, and we're growing the team.
Backed by Bengal Tea & Fabrics Limited and founded by a Michigan CS grad and Columbia MBA, we're approaching this as a long-term business, not a sprint.
The Team
You'd be joining as hire #3 alongside a senior backend architect and a junior full stack developer, working directly with the founder.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain features across the stack — React frontend, Express/Node microservices backend
- Work with bulk data pipelines from ERP exports through to dashboard outputs
- Contribute across use cases: yields, manpower, machinery, weather, sales, sampling, and industry benchmarks
- Own bug triage, fixes, and customer-facing technical issues as we onboard new estates
- Write and maintain documentation — technical and user-facing
- Contribute to testing infrastructure and code quality as we consolidate the codebase
What We're Looking For
- Solid full stack experience in React and Node/Express
- Comfortable with data-heavy applications — ingestion, transformation, dashboards
- High ownership mindset — small team, no layers
- Communicates clearly with both technical teammates and non-technical estate managers
A plus if you have experience in:
- IoT systems and sensor data pipelines
- Data science, statistical modelling, or forecasting
- Machine learning or AI integration
- Computer vision (relevant for field and machinery monitoring use cases)
