Role-: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: USA Remote

Experience: 10+ years

Contract: Long Term Contract

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join a team building next-generation internal systems for media and digital content production. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in quality assurance, testing methodologies, and working in cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning:

  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements
  • Prepare test data and assist in automation scripting
  • Support test environment setup

Test Execution:

  • Execute manual and automated test cases
  • Validate and document test results
  • Ensure requirements and quality standards are met

Defect Management:

  • Identify, log, and track defects
  • Work with developers to resolve issues
  • Provide basic defect analysis

Quality Assurance:

  • Follow QA standards and best practices
  • Support process improvements and audits
  • Assist in maintaining testing tools and environments

Reporting & Communication:

  • Share regular updates on testing status and issues
  • Participate in project meetings

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC
  • Experience with manual and basic automation testing
  • Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge
  • Ability to create clear documentation and test artifacts
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Experience with tools like Visio (or similar) for flow diagrams
