Role Overview: We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in Gurugram. You'll work closely with our development team to build, implement and maintain high-quality frontend applications, contributing to our suite of data visualization and business intelligence tools.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain high-performance frontend applications for our data visualization and business intelligence suite
• Own UX and design decisions end-to-end, reasoning about choices based on users and use cases, and helping define the design language for the firm
• Build and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across projects
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers on API contracts, requirements, and development
• Jump on calls with users to understand issues firsthand and deliver solutions
• Evaluate and introduce new tools, libraries, and patterns that improve developer experience and end-user experience
• Mentor junior engineers, review code, and help shape the team’s technical direction and standards

What we're looking for

• 4-6 years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and state management (e.g. Redux)
• Experience with data visualization / charting libraries (Highcharts, D3)
• Experience building and defining a design system / design language from scratch
• A performance-first mindset - you treat performance as a core requirement, not an afterthought
• Experience building products from inception, with the ability to reason clearly about design and architectural trade-offs
• Takes pride in setting and following coding standards, best practices, and writing unit tests for reliability, maintainability, and consistency
• Uses AI tools in day-to-day work to improve productivity for themselves and the team
