Our client is a leading Swiss digital engineering and IT consultancy, drawing on over 30 years of experience in software and digital engineering to support global organisations across banking, insurance, pharma, commerce, energy, and the public sector. With offices in 10 countries worldwide, the company has established a key R&D hub in Bulgaria that plays a central role in delivering business-critical digital products for long-standing, strategic clients.

As part of a newly formed team building a greenfield, large-scale digital platform, they are currently looking for an experienced React.js Frontend Developer to support the development of modern, intuitive user interfaces.

The role can be fully remote in Bulgaria. Please see more details below:

Frontend Developer (React.js)

Responsibilities:

• Design and build modern, user-centred frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
• Ensure high-quality UI through clean component architecture, performance optimisation, and accessibility best practices;
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and scalable user experiences;
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, usable, and maintainable frontend solutions;
• Contribute to the full frontend lifecycle, from concept and UX refinement to implementation and continuous improvement;
• Apply and evolve consistent design systems and reusable UI components (e.g. Material UI);
• Participate actively in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within an agile team.
  
  

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend or UI-focused engineering roles;
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript;
• Practical experience with Next.js or comparable modern frontend frameworks;
• Solid understanding of frontend quality aspects such as performance, accessibility, clean code, and automated testing;
• Experience working closely with UX/design teams and backend services;
• Fluent English.
