Trainerize, powered by ABC Fitness Solutions (www.trainerize.com), is looking for a Software Development Intern to join our growing development team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing technology company making waves in the fitness industry.

Trainerize customers are fitness businesses and professionals, and our goal is to make them more accessible to more people around the world. As an integral part of ABC Fitness Solutions’ club management platform, Trainerize enables fitness businesses to train, coach, motivate, and hold clients accountable as they work toward their goals.

This position is 100% remote.

We are looking for motivated students who bring fresh thinking, innovation, and diverse perspectives to our engineering team.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Development Intern, you will contribute to real production initiatives and collaborate closely with experienced engineers. Responsibilities include:

• Design and build web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design, develop, test, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and assist with pull/merge requests
• Work with senior developers to break down tasks and provide effort estimates
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation processes
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Academic or project experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

• Experience with NPM and modern front-end tooling
• Exposure to RxJS or reactive programming concepts
• Experience contributing to team-based software projects (academic, open source, or internships
