Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freelance Onground Reporter based in Mumbai. The reporter will be responsible for covering and reporting on local and national events, conducting interviews, collecting information, and producing accurate and timely news stories. The role requires collaboration with editors and multimedia teams to create compelling content for diverse platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Reporting and News Writing to deliver accurate and engaging news stories
• Strong Communication and Writing skills for clear and effective information gathering and dissemination
• Experience with Multimedia tools for capturing and editing visual and audio content
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle breaking news scenarios
• Familiarity with journalistic ethics and guidelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of Mumbai’s local and regional issues is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in dynamic environments
