Our client, a leading consumer goods firm is looking to engage with a highly experienced Magento 2.x Consultant to provide expert guidance, troubleshoot issues, and help enhance the e-commerce platform?s functionality, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Magento development and customization, with deep understanding of e-commerce workflows, third-party integrations, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities -Provide daily consultation and hands-on development support for Magento 2.x projects. -Analyze and resolve technical issues related to Magento core, themes, and extensions. -Optimize website performance, caching, and TTFB to improve user experience. -Collaborate with internal developers on integrations (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, CRM, or marketing tools). -Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Magento coding standards. -Assist in patching, upgrading, and maintaining Magento instances. -Support debugging and root cause analysis for production issues. Duration- 4 months (on-going engagement) Capacity- Part-time (2?3 hours per day) Flexible timings Location- Remote with periodic team syncs. (Preference for Delhi NCR candidate) Skills Required -7?10 years of experience in Magento 2.x development and architecture. -Proven experience working on large-scale e-commerce websites (B2C/B2B). -Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Knockout.js, RequireJS, HTML5, and CSS3. -Experience with Magento APIs, and REST integrations. -Knowledge of security best practices and PCI compliance. -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and provide proactive technical guidance. Preferred Qualifications -Magento Certified Developer / Architect certification. -Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or GA4 integration (added advantage).
