Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role located in Delhi, OH, for a Freelance Chemical Engineer. The selected individual will be responsible for carrying out chemical analysis, designing and testing chemical manufacturing processes, and optimizing production workflows. Tasks include developing and implementing safe and efficient chemical processes, preparing technical reports, and troubleshooting operational issues. The role also involves ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including chemical processes, reaction engineering, and thermodynamics
• Experience in process design, process optimization, and simulation tools
• Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and risk assessment in chemical engineering
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation with excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in industrial or process engineering projects is preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
